Our dog fence system allows you to keep your dog within the area you want them.
This dog fence kit contains everything needed to contain one medium/large dog. If you have more than one dog, just add additional collars.
Features:
- Manufactured in Ireland - A two-year warranty comes with every dog fence. An Irish dedicated support line and e-mail support are also available for any questions you may have.
- Complete Kit - Included: Dog Fence Control unit, medium/large collar, mains power adapter, spanner, pointed probes, loop wire connector kit, neon tester and 100 metres of the durable boundary wire.
- Rechargeable - The collar can fast charge in only 6 hours. A single charge can last up to three months once your dog is used to the fence. Also, the anti-linger sensor prevents battery depletion in the tone zone. Thus if the dog sits in the tone zone beep will automatically turn into a stimulus to prevent the battery from running out.
- Waterproof - The collar can be used in wet or muddy conditions. Furthermore, it can withstand falling into water. These pet fences are thus suited to our climate.
- Extendable - You can add as many rolls of pet containment fence boundary wire as you want. A single system can cover up to six acres. No restrictions apply in relation to the shape of the area that can be enclosed by the dog fence.
- The dog fence can contain multiple dogs - Multiple dogs can be contained using the same fence. Extra collars will be needed to do this. If your family or friends are visiting and have our system their dogs will also be contained in your garden.
- Wire break indicator - The control unit will alarm if the wire is broken, giving you peace of mind in knowing the fence is working. Each kit is supplied with wire joining kit in case it is required.
This medium/large dog fence kit suits dogs like German Shepards, Boxers, Golden Retrievers, Collies, Dalmatians, Bulldogs and Large Poodles.
How does the dog fence collar work?
As your dog approaches the fence the collar will give a tone. If your dog continues to go towards the fence this will become a stimulus. Once your dog has had the stimulus a few times, the tone alone will let him know that he is too close to the boundary and he will learn to stay away from it. Training is key in helping him understand the concept of the dog fence.
The boundary wire can be installed by laying it over the ground, burying it 2-3 inches down, feeding it through a hose pipe or tacking it to an existing fence of a hedge.
This form of pet fence is much better than an ordinary agricultural fence. It is safe for children to touch this pet containment fence. Also, while a dog may be able to work out how to jump over or crawl under an ordinary electric fence, they cannot here are they will be unable to get close enough to the boundary. Driveways can thus safely be left open.
The pet fence can cater for even the most determined of escape artists. It does this with a speed detector which prevents your dog from running over the boundary. If a dog tries to do this the stimulus will go straight to the maximum.
An LED on the collar flashes when it is in the active zone, it indicates the collar battery charge-status (green= “OK”: red = low battery- in need of recharge).
